1. General Conditions
1.1. Matchmaking is governed by the following set of rules and regulations which apply to all participants in order to provide a fair and pleasant experience for all our users.
1.2. For violation of any of the clauses of the rules, the Referee reserves the right to issue a warning, a technical defeat, or a ban (the time is set by the Referee) based on the severity of the violation.
1.3. Users repeatedly receiving warnings might be penalized with a technical defeat or a ban for a certain period of time
1.4. Google Chrome is the recommended browser to participate in the tournaments.
2. Tournament Format
2.1. Game Mode —1v1 Solo Mid
2.2. All participants must select the same hero which is specified on the ladder page.
2.3. Tournament draw is done randomly by the system.
3. Game Rules
3.1. The main communication channel for organizing matches is WePlay Esports Discord
3.2. When the match starts, you need to go to the website and confirm your readiness in your match section within 1 minute. Then, in Dota 2 you will receive an automatic invitation to the lobby. If the player does not take his slot in the match lobby within 5 minutes (Internet problems, installing a client update or other technical reason that depends only on the player), the player gets technical defeat.
3.3. The player who kills the opponent’s hero twice or destroy their tower is the winner of the game (suicides also count as kills).
3.4 Allowed: Creeps, runes, jungle, bottle, outposts, Infused Raindrop, and using Helm of the Dominator on creeps are all allowed.
4. Prohibited
4.1. It is forbidden to flood messages, swear, abuse and deceive participants as well as judges during a tournament by any means. For such violations, the player may receive a warning, technical defeat, ban and lose any prizes won. To report such behaviours, you must provide screenshots.
4.2. Intentional spam "gg" during the game
4.3. A player's name cannot include abusive language, propaganda, racism, or any form of hatred towards representatives of a certain nationality.
4.4 A player’s avatar cannot contain violent images, pornographic material, propaganda, racism, or any form of hatred towards representatives of a certain nationality.
4.5 A player's name cannot include a domain (for example: www.google.com or google.com). Such players will not be allowed to participate in WePlay tournaments.
5. Appeals
5.1 All claims of violation of the rules are accepted for consideration during the match. If there are no claims during the match, the result of the match can no longer be changed.
5.2. All the above mentioned rules are situational and can be interpreted differently by the Judges for each game in order to make the best decision.
5.3 Any situation not covered in the rules will be handled by the tournament administration.
5.4 Any participant in a disputed or conflict situation is responsible for the accuracy of the information submitted.
5.5 Decisions of the Judges in any situation including those not described in these rules are final and not negotiable.
6. Final clauses
6.1. By participating in matchmaking all players agree to the terms described in these rules and undertake to comply with.
6.2. In the case of any situation with ambiguous interpretation of the rules and/or cases not described in these rules, the Judge has a right to the final decision without appeal.
6.3. By participating in ladder, the player confirms that he has familiarized with the conditions of the given rules and agrees with the terms. And gives administration its consent to process information about themselves for marketing purposes.
6.4. Strict compliance with these rules, as well as providing all the necessary documentation by the winner to confirm adult age if requested by the administration is a prerequisite for receiving the reward.
6.5. After the prize is handled to the winner commitment of the Administrator is considered as implemented according to these rules
6.6. The host is not responsible for the credibility of the entire data provided by a ladder participant
6.7. Ladder administration is not responsible for failure to comply with their obligations in force majeure such as natural disaster, fire, flooding, hostilities of any nature, blockade, significant changes in legislation operating in the territory of the holding giveaway, other circumstances beyond the control of the ladder administration, if these circumstances prevent the fulfillment of such obligations.
7. The Matchmaking holder reserves the right to:
7.1 Terminate participation in the ladder for Participants against which there were suspicions of fraudulent actions and/or other violation of the Rules and terms of the ladder;
7.2. Change the terms, timing of the ladder, rules for issuing the Prize;
7.3. Stop, pause, cancel matchmaking holding, if, for any reason, any aspect of the ladder cannot be implemented as planned, including the reasons caused by: failure of the Ladder Site as a result of malware, malfunctions in communication networks, unauthorized interference with the Ladder Site, technical malfunctions Ladder Site or any other reason that is beyond the control of the administration of the ladder and which affects the performance, safety, reliability of the determination of results and/or the proper ladder holding.
