1.3. Servers: Moscow, Frankfurt.
1.4. Method of competition: 2 versus 2.
1.5. Google Chrome is the recommended browser to participate in the tournaments.
2. Tournament Conduct Format
2.1. Teams face each other in a Single Elimination format.
2.2. Format "Best of 1".
3.1. At the start of the tournament you will receive an automatic invitation to the match lobby. If a player does not enter the lobby in 7 minutes (problems with the Internet, client updates, or other technical issues are not acceptable and players are responsible to ready up for every match in time), the player receives a technical defeat.
3.2. The main communication channel during the competition is our WePlay! Esports Discord server. Absence on the channel can lead to a technical defeat (for example, if we ask you to provide a demo, but you do not respond in time.)
3.3. All players are required to record a POV demo (write in console "record record_name"). Not recording a demo can result in losing your prize and/or a technical defeat.
3.4 If you do not provide a demo more than 3 times when asked by the WePlay! authorities, you will be banned from WePlay! tournaments for 7 days. Should we again ask for a demo after the first ban duration and you fail to do so, you will be banned for you last ban duration plus 7 more days (14 days in case of a second time ban.)
3.5. The match begins after all the players confirm their readiness (having typed the command !ready in the chat).
If the opponent does not enter the server in its entirety within 5 minutes and/or does not write !ready, take a screenshot with TAB held down and post it to the WePlay! Esports Discord server alongside a link to the match lobby. In order to show how long you have been waiting in the server, use status command in the console when you enter the server and again after 5 minutes before taking the screenshot.
If the opponent leaves the server, you need to wait 3 minutes. In order to show how long you have been waiting in the server, use thetime command in the console at the time of your opponent’s exit and again after 3 minutes (if your opponent does not return to the server in 3 minutes) before taking the screenshot. You then need to post the screenshot to the WePlay! Esports Discord server alongside a link to the match lobby.
A match can be continued if one or more player(s) disconnect from the server for whatever reason, but all members of both teams need to be present in the server to begin a game.
3.6. Each player is allowed to pause the game (must type !Pause in chat) no more than two times and every time up to three minutes. After a player’s pause limit ends, the match continues regardless of whether the problem is fixed.
3.7. In case a player leaves the game (rage quit or internet disconnection), the other player must pause the game (type !Pause). If the opponent does not return in three minutes, a technical defeat is given to the player that has left;
3.8. Recording POV demos can only be requested by a judge in exceptional circumstances.
3.9. After registering for a tournament in 2v2 mode, a team can change players for 1 time and re-register for a tournament with a different composition.
