1.5. Google Chrome is the recommended browser to participate in the tournaments.
2. Tournament Conduct Format
2.1. Teams face each other in a Single Elimination format.
2.2. Format "Best of 1".
3. Game Rules
3.1. At the start of the tournament you will receive an automatic invitation to the match lobby. If a player does not enter the lobby in 5 minutes (problems with the Internet, client updates, or other technical issues are not acceptable and players are responsible to ready up for every match in time), the player receives a technical defeat.
3.2. The main communication channel during our tournaments is our Discord channel called #csgo-tournaments. Not being a member of the channel may result in your disqualification.
3.3. All players are required to record a POV demo (write in console "record record_name"). Not recording a demo can result in losing your prize and/or a technical defeat. If a player is suspected of cheating or using bugs, the admin can remove the player from the tournament and request a POV demo. In case of failure to provide a POV demo at the request of the admin, you can get banned on the platform. The demo should be stored for 3 days, and can be deleted afterwards.
3.4. Any changes in the squad will result in your team’s being removed from the tournament. After this happens, the captain can join the tournament again with the new squad.
3.5. The match begins after all the players confirm their readiness (having typed the command !ready in the chat).
3.6. If the opponent leaves the server, you need to wait 3 minutes. In order to show how long you have been waiting on the server, use thetime command in the chat at the time of your opponent’s exit and again after 3 minutes (if your opponent does not return to the server in 3 minutes) before taking the screenshot. You then need to post the screenshot to the WePlay Esports Discord server alongside a link to the match lobby.
A match can be continued if one or more player(s) disconnect from the server for whatever reason, but all members of both teams need to be present in the server to begin a game.
3.7. Each match on the server lasts until 16 rounds are won. The max amount of rounds for one side is 15, after that teams switch sides and the match continues.
3.8. Each team is allowed to pause the game (type !pause in chat) no more than four times during the match and no more than 30 seconds every time. After a team’s pause limit ends, the match continues regardless of whether the problem is fixed.
3.9. The admin may request you to make your Steam profile public. If you refuse, you may be disqualified from the tournament.
4. Bugs, Restrictions, Unfair Play, and Penalties
4.1. Players may receive technical defeats for using bugs.
4.2. It’s prohibited to waste time by playing two or more tournaments at the same time, including on other websites. Complaints about such a player are accepted only from a match participant on compete.weplay.tv. If our admin has a significant proof of time-wasting, a player will be disqualified from all the ongoing tournaments except the one that started earlier than others. Exceptions are applied to Premium tournaments and the ones that were delayed due to technical reasons.
4.3. Unfair play is defined as using scripts or programs that hack the game.

In some cases, you need to provide a POV demo at the request of the judge as well.
4.10. Delaying the match is strictly prohibited. If a player/team deliberately delays the match, they might receive a technical defeat.
4.11. If a team refuses to replay a match appointed by the admin, it receives a technical defeat and forfeits any prizes won in the tournament.
4.12. Unsportsmanlike behavior is prohibited. Examples of such act include sabotaging a match, verbal abuse, and any behavior that can fit in this category. Punishment for this ranges from warning to total disqualification from a tournament.
4.13. Username or team name must not include obscene language, racial discrimination or another form of hate speech adressed to certain nationalities. Breaking this rule will result in a warning, a technical defeat, or a temporary ban.
